Maryam Ahmed
Senior
Pre-Medical track, Minor: Business
Salaam everyone! My name is Maryam Ahmed and I'm a senior this year on the pre-med track with a minor in business. I am a Lawrence resident, but originally from Canada. I came to KU because it was close to home and has great STEM resources. In'Sha'Allah in the near future, I plan to explore the public health field as I work my way towards becoming a physician! Some of my hobbies include traveling, hanging out with friends, and feeding my unhealthy coffee addiction by trying new coffee shops. What I love about our MSA is how we can all bond and connect with one another no matter our backgrounds. We also have a super supportive community which makes the Jayhawk experience that much more wholesome. Good vibes always :)
Fun fact about me: *error 404* I have no fun facts

I am from Overland Park, KS, and have grown up there my whole life. I chose KU because of its convenience; I love its atmosphere and as a commuter, KU allows me to get an amazing education and stay close to my family. In'sha'Allah in the future, I hope to serve patients, build relationships with them, be their source for help, and improve the quality of their lives. My main hobbies are spending time with family, vibing with MoHameed, exercising, and playing video games. Every time I’m with the MSA, I enjoy every second of it. I always look forward to the weekly meetings, regardless of whether it’s on zoom or in-person.
